Can we eat to starve cancer?

If you don't know TED, this is a great introduction. My advice - watch one TED talk each week and become a better human. In this talk, William Li presents a new way to think about treating cancer and other diseases: anti-angiogenesis, preventing the supply of blood to hungry tumours. The crucial first (and best) step - eating foods that cut off the supply lines and beat cancer at it's own game.

Maybe the most important 20 minutes of your life. If you're really short on time, start at 11:55.

Are you ready to get to work?

Our 2010 climate action plan is all about getting to work on local climate solutions.
On 10/10/10, the Global Work Party, we'll start transforming our communities from the ground up. Through local climate action projects, we'll make our leaders wake up and lead on the climate crisis. It's a plan that may well break the logjam and get us moving. Will you join in?
